Donations

The ELCO Performing Arts Center (soon to be known as the Lerner Performing Arts Center) is owned by the City of Elkhart and managed by Premier Arts, Inc. (a local not-for profit 501c3 corporation). A portion of the City’s annual budget is allocated to the theater and pays for upkeep of the structure itself.

Premier Arts, Inc. is responsible for bringing events to the theater as well as managing those events until they are completed. This is no easy task! Theater operations generally are not enough to generate adequate funding for these events. We rely heavily on outside sources to fill this gap and to be able to provide quality entertainment for residents of the area.

You are certainly important and are vital to the success of Premier Arts, Inc. bringing the types of entertainment you enjoy to the theater. Anyone can be a donor! Those who have a love for the arts and theater, who would like to support quality theater activities and participation for hundreds of youth in this area, or who just like seeing some good events come to the theater are likely to be donors.

Every donation is important and respected no matter how small or large. Cash, check, charge card are always welcome and accepted. Alternative forms of giving are also welcome such as including Premier Arts in your will or as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy. Designated uses for your gifts may also be requested. All contributions are deductible on your tax return (please contact your tax accountant if you have specific questions about deductibility).
